Concerning the "S" for short, Umar was already playing low, not high (A,
not Bb).

My reason for asking about the number is that a full semitone low seems
like a huge distance to me. I was looking for anything that didn't
make sense. I don't know anything about Selmer, but they do (I think)
make a 64.5 barrel also; and if this is what Umar has on his clarinet,
perhaps this would account for a semitone lower?

(not ignoring the possible effects of adjusting from sax to clarinet
embouchure, nor the possibility that the piano is tuned low.)
