Hi Tony,

I'll write and ask Annie to explain how she does this. She may be able to
do a better job than I. She does it initially without using fingers - just
the tongue moving in the throat, I believe. We also practiced sliding from
note to note going up and down the scale. Annie is an amazing clarinetist
with some great ways of teaching little pieces of the whole. Hang on and
I'll send out the request.
