a year ago i had a composite bridge built. Basically, i was born without a
lateral incisor on the top left, so i had to get a plate, then braces, then
a retainer. I'm 17, so he recommended not getting an implant until i've
finished growing. So, he built a composite bridge. I'm pretty sure that this
is different to a regular bridge. They join it onto the teeth either side of
it and it's like a putty that hardens and they shape it to look like a tooth
and match it in colour. I havn't had any problems with sound (although i am
not a professional) and they didn't have to do anything to the surrounding
teeth. The best part is that it's removable if i decided to get an implant.

I have no idea if this is an option for you, but it worked for me. Since
mine was a lateral incisor, it doesn't present any problems in eating, but
they may if you use them for a molar... it's worth looking at thought.

All the best,

Mitch
