----- A few minor notes on the Beethoven 5 of Szell with Cleveland...for the
most part the interpretation is pretty staightforward..however, the
development section entry with the horns is slightly slower in movement 1.

As to the finale everything is very metronomic...maybe too much because this
ritardando happens out of no where...Karajan and Klemperer and Kleiber are
without.

Wonder what was in Szell's coffee...just strange.
