Southern Utah University

Single Reed Position, Assistant/Associate Professor of Music,
Full-Time, 9-Month, Tenure Track position. Teach applied single reed
lessons and other related courses, actively and successfully recruit for
studio and ensembles, and undertake other assignments and duties as
assigned by the department chair. Doctorate in appropriate specialty
required for tenure track position, Masters degree for non-tenure track;
successful university level teaching and exemplary performance skills
desired; demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional
interpersonal relationships; strong commitment to recruiting required;
successful recruiting experience at the university level preferred.
Starting date: August 16, 2004. Salary commensurate with qualifications
