No, I didn't. In fact, as so often happens, I think your thread about
Dan's book says something useful when joined with the other threads that
are currently in play.

Rather, I was responding to your closing comment that discussing Dan's
characters in relation to hard evidence is not "off topic" at all
(contrary to the worry that you expressed in your previous post).
