<chuckle> Just for the record, I will repeat "perhaps".

Nor is it obvious why "bright" and "dark" occur so often in conversation
despite their lack of precision. At some point, we must deal with the
fact that they *are* used frequently. There is (ooops, there may be) a
grain of truth lurking somewhere in their use.
