Actually I only paid an application fee of $50. To suggest that I
might have
paid extra money to sway the judging is ridiculous and unfounded.

The application was not what I was referring to ($50 is nothing and
there is no judge swaying, it's most likely him and his wife who do
it). It's the "record contract" that was. That's where the real money
is spent - wait and see.
