There is a new free clarinet piece to download on my JB

site at http://www.jb-linear-music.com I am offering
free sheet music for visitors there. Today you will
find a solo (unaccompanied) transcription of a Rossini
overture: Mr. Bruschino, or The Accidental Son. This is
an unusual piece that requires the violins to tap their
bows on their stands from time to time. Not only is it
entertaining to watch string players do that with their
expensive bows, but it was a challenge to come up with
a way for a clarinetist to make that sound, too. Maybe
some of you klarinet listers might have some other
ideas.

This is in the form of a "pdf" file that you can open
with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Acrobat is often standard on
most computers, but if you do not have it, you can get
it for free at adobe.com. I have been a digest list
member for about 5 years, and a clarinet.org sponsor,
too.

The free music will be changed about every two weeks
and will also include music for duet combinations of
flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone. I will
let the Klarinet list know when new free clarinet music
is available.
