If you have the chance to hear the Heath Brothers (three gray-haired
brothers plus a young pianist --- sax, bass & cello, drums, piano)
before they call it quits, or before age forces them to quit, you should
do so.

No acrobatics, just classical jazz with thoroughly developed themes and
skills (that 'classic music' devotees can enjoy also). They do not
hide behind their age, their skills are still there, and they don't need
histrionics in order to transport you. Because of their age, there
were a couple of lapses, but most of it was faultless.
