Ooh, art is real; it is is REALITY that doesn't exist. *VBEG*

>The rabbits might have some fun. Do rabbits have a sense of humor? I've noticed that, when confronted with any critter of substantial size, Shadow Cat manages not to notice it's there. If she noticed it, she would feel obliged to chase it. She doesn't chase unless she's reasonably sure of the outcome,

>(Remember Jimmy Carter and the Killer River Rabbit? Shadow Cat isn't old enough to remember that incident, but I think she's seen the film clips.) Yes, the rabbits could have some fun.

It's difficult to know what my rabbits would make out of a cat. I think
SA would just sit there and look at her. Unless she threatened his
pootybox, or his food, he wouldn't care. Spooky, well, she's a hormonal
teenaged bunny (hasn't been fixed yet, more's the pity!), and is rather
unpredictable. Though SA can control her...er...urges...with only one
THUMP, who knows what sort of annoyances she'd wreak on a cat. Shadow
Cat might enjoy the romp!

The meeces say they'll pass! :D

btw, Shadow is a BEAUTIFUL kitty, yes she is.

>She did bury one of my mouthpieces in her litter box once. (Either that or something else she buried turned into a clarinet mouthpiece....) I've been more careful about leaving mouthpieces lying around since then. She's never buried an entire clarinet, eefer or otherwise, although I wouldn't put it past her to try. In the photo, if you look carefully at the lower,
>outer edge of the ear nearest the camera, you can spot the little extra flap and channel. I think it's nothing but a minor deformity, although she claims it's some sort of extra-sensory reception device.

If you say it's okay, I'd like to run a picture of Shadow Cat on the
Front Page of the Yahoo group that I co-moderate, MiceParadiseMembers.
E-mail me offlist, if you would, and let me know if this would be okay.
We've featured all sorts of critters on that front page, including
legless lizards, sugar gliders and who knows what else. A brief account
of Shadow Cat's clarinet hating ways would, of course, be welcome as well!

>Right now, she's all fehtootzed because of the noisy nest of raccoons in the chimney. "What, more vermin?! The least you could do is attract *small* vermin!"

He he he...SA should count himself lucky that the only "vermin" he
encounters are the deer mice we have fondly named "the Spawn of Jeckle"
in memory of the late, great mouse who had the mind of an evil
scientist, and the occasional honey bee or wasp. Oh, and Spooky in her
cage, every so often. I doubt a raccoon would be his cup of tea,
either. I'm rather glad he doesn't run off with clarinet mouthpieces
and bury them in the pootybox.
Of course, he's too lazy. *G*
