Where does a cat's purr fit in? Or is this more of a 'bio-mechanical' sort of sound? This was actually the SECOND sound I thought of. The first one was actually the tooth purr that rabbits produce when being petted. However, that is NOT produced by the rabbits' vocalising, but by gentle grinding of their teeth.

However, domestic rabbits DO, at times, produce a honking sound. You can hear an example here:

I'd NEVER heard a rabbit make such a noise; I've only had three, however, so I'm not that experienced.
