Beautifully written, and oh so true.

Specifics make so much more sense, especially on a written list.
Abstruse comments such as, "this is bad" or "this is good" tell us
nothing at all; one learns nothing from such comments, whether they are
directed at oneself or others.

Tony, I always learn something from the commentaries and criticisms on
clarinet and clarinet playing you write. I hope some day, you will
consider penning a book on the clarinet. I would love to be a fly on
the wall while you write so I could eavesdrop on you and your editor!
