Hello,
My name is Robert Reyes, i'm college student going to Fullerton
College, in Fullerton Ca. Last friday I bought a Buffet R-13 clarinet (with
silver keys). I read an article on sneezy.org about breaking in new wood
clarinets. It said that you should play it for about 15 mins a day for the
first week, two 15 mins sessions a day the following week, then play on it
longer and longer until it's broken in. Is this normal. I have spent a lot
of money ( for a college student anyway) and I don't want to ruin this
instrument. So i'm asking you nice folks on the list to help walk me
through the breaking process. Thank You.
