No, but - you're the first person I've seen mention they have a Pourcelle
clarinet of any kind. I passed on a chance to buy a couple but am curious
what they are like.
I know, I may be wasting bandwidth but you mentioned something I'm
interested in. I want to ask about shiny corks and pads, but not until I
know what your sense of humor is like. I had a Bundy student clarinet, and
while it wasn't the greatest clarinet on earth, it survived eleven years,
approx one hundred football halftime shows, countless outdoor rehearsals in
wind rain and snow and brutal heat, being dropped while in and out of its
case several times, submersion in a fountain in Mexico City. and about five
repads. I laid it to rest in my attic when I left college and didn't need an
outdoor clarinet anymore.

Don

Because some of us get much more than we give and it feels odd to send a
message that says "Gee, I like that idea! Thanks for posting."??

And do you really want to hear me happily reveal that I have my clarinets
back from being repaired - a student B flat Bundy and an E flat Pourcelle?
Or that, after lurking here and knowing that I should look at the corks and
keys and pads, the first thing that pops into my brain is "Oh, look!
They're *clean*!! And *SHINY*!!!" ???
