I have been organizing ABRSM grade examinations every year for about 5 years now for my students (and any guests who want to take part but seldom do) at my music school in Loerrach, Germany. Since there are no other venues in southern Germany, we get attached to the Swiss tour of the examiner. (We're right on the border.) I would be very happy to hear of more people in the area who would be interested in taking part in these exams. It's such a welcome alternative to the country wide music competitions (which also have there good sides) and a great motivation for the students.

In the booklet "Examination Regulations international edition 2004", p. 17 it lists diplomas durrently awarded by the ABRSM. They include DipABRSM, LRSM and FRSM. This booklet and the different syllabi will be sent to you free of charge if you mail the ABRSM at <abrsm@-----.uk>
