I had the pleasure of visiting the Buffet factory 2 years ago. It was wonderful. I e-mailed a month or so in advance, let them know when I would be in Paris and inquired if there were any tours available. They responded very quickly - I am from the US and toured with some wonderful Norwegian clarinetists. You take the train from Gare St. Lazare in Paris to Mantes and the factory is just down the street. You will find it, I think, to be a tour you will never forget. Good luck!! Jeanne
