This happened to me once using electronic bill paying, resulting in a
monthly cable TV bill of $4,995. (no extra comma, but forgetting a
decimal). They debited the bank account and gave me a big credit - CATV =
for
the next 99 months maybe? It took more than 6 months to get a refund.

That slip of the finger must happen occasionally, since the comma and =
the
period are right next to each other on the keyboard...etc
