That slip of the finger must happen occasionally, since the comma and the
period are right next to each other on the keyboard. Then there are the
people like me -- I tend to write numerals in reversed order, and I can
look at the correct number next to the incorrect one and not perceive that
they're different. (That's one of the reasons I never use eBay, as a
matter of fact. I feel safer at a live auction, where I can use hand
signals or my voice.) Does eBay have any provision for retracting a bid?
Is there a penalty?
