I've been involved in only one 'serious' instrument service dispute,
which involved a minor amount fo detective work to resolve. The final
confrontation involved exactly the same
"I'm-so-great-and-you-don't-deserve-me" attitude as other people have
described in this thread. Reading these comments here was 'deja vu'.
I could hear the same words again.
Even if a technician is capable of doing fine work, if you can't trust
the technician to care about *every* customer, then why waste your time
and money?
While hearsay is not always accurate, nevertheless when I hear reports
that a repair person is selective in whom they work for, then I cross
them off my list.
