On the other hand you had NO problems with them. Now, this is the
hallmark of inconsistency: Some people have a LOT of problems with
them, while a majority of people have NO problems with them. That is
not hearsay. That is the preponderance of people relating their
personal experiences. I was NOT choosing sides with Mr. Abraham. I
simply was saying that choosing to relate his experience was a good
idea, since there are those of us who make money playing music who are
on limited budgets and must make some very hard choices, based on those
budgets.

When one is NOT familiar with a repair shop's work first hand, it is
very important to get as MUCH evidence as possible from as MANY people
as possible, and get as many sides of the picture as one can. Saying
someone's work is inconsistent is NOT the same as saying someone doesn't
do good work at all. I could very well send my clarinets to the
Brannens and get the same superior results you obtained, obviously.
However, from the percentage of negative reports I've read, it is my
opinion that doing so might be more of a financial risk with less
possibility of a good return for my investment than I believe would be
prudent on my part.
