And before Jupiter, many Vito saxes were made by Yamaha, as were most
Holton brasses (both Leblanc brands). Turnabout is fair play,
however. Until just recently, Yamaha's standard bass clarinet was a
stenciled Vito (as was the YCL-24 II clarinet)! Also, until recently, Bach
low brass was stenciled Yamaha. Now, of course, since the Conn-Selmer
merger, they are shifting to "internal resources" for their low brass.
