A museum lists a Boehm flute dating from 1925 that was built by a
"Baxter-Northrup Company". (You mentioned the 1950s) In addition to
the museum's curator perhaps having additional information (it's
probably a local phone call for you), I can't help wondering why a
museum would exhibit a stencil?
