One (admittedly effective) potboiler against one of the greatest
creations of mankind?

It is only great if some thinks it is great. There are many who don't =
like Mozart's music and love Tchaikovsky's music. You can't speak for =
the rest of the world.

Are you predicating your argument on the assumption that Iliad and
Odyssey are examples of the greatest writing?=20

The "Iliad and the Odyssey" is a classic piece if literature. It is =
read and discussed in schools and universities around the world. Those =
are facts. Your opinion is just that - your opinion.
