-stimulating the imagination of a child is a bad thing?????
-making those neurons in the brains establish additional connections is a
bad thing????
-presenting a child with a reason to want to read is a bad thing'???
-children exercise brains cells to memorize all sorts of trivia. is this a
bad skill to learn.????
-is providing children something to talk about instead of Brittany Spears,
Michael Jackson such a bad thing??

-I would think that appreciate of music (which Matthew heralds) also takes a
degree of imagination. why not use HP to help children (and adults) develop
imagination.

all the above applies to adults too. Maybe if adults had a better outlet for
imagination they would not have to dream up WMDs in order to get their
testosterone rush. (Sorry, could not resist)

Matthew,

It does when the money people spend on this stuff and the revenues provide
you with services and products that you use. Don't think for a minute that
there is no relation between popular culture and this computer that you and
I are using to speak to each other.
