If children were led to music rather than Harry Potter then the world
would be a much better place.

And why adults read it is beyond me. I have read some - my Evil Ex was a
primary school teacher and I even suffered both films (well to be
strictly honest only some of the second - I fell asleep.....). I watched
- and cheered - as Linda Smith put Harry Potter in Room 101 the other
day. [Those not in England will not understand this bit - but it's a
long explanation!]

I cannot see the attraction of Harry Potter when there is so much better
literature for children. Not to mention adults.
