Many of you have been around since the day that the "sneezy" computer
started handling the mail services for this list. It's been a nice little
reliable computer, handling its chores day in and day out for (I think) 4
or so years. Originally it handled dns, web sites & databases along with
its email duties, but those days waned as more and more traffic built up
and over the last few of months it has been relegated to mail only.

Even then, it couldn't keep up with the demands I wanted to press on it -
spam filtering, virus checking, and other email-related duties. It was
just getting too old for the modern, mean-spirited days of bulk email and
malicious hacking.

This weekend the mail duties were handed off to a new computer and
"sneezy" was left to finish sending out the emails it had pending in its
queue. It finally finished off a few minutes ago, and I stopped its
processes and turned it off for a well-needed rest.

I'm not sure at this point what I'm going to end up doing with it, but for
now it's resting in its place of honor.

Mark C.
