Folks,

As a preamble: Several years ago I bought a Wurlitzer BC to low Eb from
ebay - not a good experience, since the horn was cracked and repaired at
the center joint, and ultimately fell apart in shipping after I had sold it
- so of course, I had to refund the price. The lower joint is completely
shot - I doubt if it could be repaired at any cost. This is a "stencil" of
a Vito (so-called one piece), and is now only useful for parts. The upper
joint is intact (repaired crack at the tip), the bell and neck are
serviceable, all keys, pads, posts, springs etc are there and working last
time it was used. It came without case, and I am offering it that way.

I bought a case for it, new from WWBW, and fabricated the blocks for it,
covering them in black velvet. I am offering this separately.

I really need to get this thing out of the house! The horn itself would be
good for someone needing parts to fix another one, while the case would fit
any one-piece instrument, with suitable reworking. If no one wants it, the
horn goes into the trash, while the case will be donated to the high
school. I don't care to go through the ebay thing again, so first dibs to
the list.

OR - does anyone have a orphan lower joint for a Vito or a clone?

Pictures can be taken and sent if you want to see these things.

PLEASE CONTACT ME OFF LIST. Thanks.

George Kidder
