Subj: [kl] Summer Camps!
Date: Thu, 25 Mar 2004 23:30:50 -0500

A couple of us in my high school band have been looking at summer music
camps in Ohio. We have been looking at 3 different camps ranging in price
from $375 to $400. I like the $400 trip to Bowling Green State College
that is nothing but clarinets. Last year they only had 21 clarinets and
this one they do private lessons and different sessions about various
music things. This includes a shirt, a CD, a group picture, and a few
other things. The $375 one is at Northwestern University where it is all
instruments including string. They offer regular classes, one sectional a
day, and two ensemble practices. This one is $390 once you add in the
shirt. The third camp we were looking at that cost $390 and only includes
a shirt is at Wooster. They only do group and sectional practice everyday
for a week. These are the prices that include those housing and food for
the week. If any one has a suggestion on which I should attend please let
me know. I know most will say the clarinet camp because it focuses on
clarinets and this is a clarinet group. Please explain your answer.
