After checking out the campus and what is located nearby, it doesn't look
as if it is feasible. I live too far away (35 mi.) to have it at my
home. The costs involved trying to transport everyone are exorbitant. I
am still doing some checking though. I had to wait and see what the
housing opportunities would be (where on campus people would be
staying). I need to make another trip down to the campus and see where
things are in relation to where people will be staying. Hopefully I can do
that this weekend.

I had a boulder tossed in my path this week, as a notice for jury duty
arrived. I am scheduled to serve over the summer months, which would put a
terrible crimp in my plans. I am supposed to be away for most of the
summer. I am hoping to get a wavier so I don't lose all the money spent on
plane tickets and housing reservations (and all the music I have bought to
perform in the different places I am supposed to be playing in).

As for Fest, I think the best thing for me to do with your ticket voucher
is to send it to you. You should take it to a travel agent and have them
set up your flight. It costs an additional $30 or so but is worth it not
to screw up the use of the ticket voucher. The restrictions for its use
are very strict and I don't especially want to throw away $300 because
plans were inaccurately made. Does this sit OK with you?

After checking the Delta site (at 7 PM EST), You can fly round trip
through Cincinnati for $!78. This means you would fly from Orlando to
Cincinnati, change planes and fly to Baltimore. If you fly into Baltimore,
I can pick you up. I'm not sure I would be able to take you back to the
airport, but there is a shuttle for about $20 from College Park (U of
MD). You can also fly to Reagan National Airport in DC, but I won't pick
you up from there. That place is an accident waiting to happen and I don't
want anything to do with it. You would have to take a shuttle or a
taxi. I am happy to help you set up your plans, so you don't get lost and
have a bad experience. Just so you understand the flight plans
above, They were chosen to specifically keep you out of the Atlanta
airport. It is a challenge for a seasoned traveler to go through Atlanta
(something you are not) and I am trying to spare you the experience. The
place is huge and is entirely underground, so you cannot tell where you are
going, unless you travel through there regularly. If you are really
coming, you need to send in your application now. If you want to stay in
the dorms, this is another reason to send in you application now. Space is
limited. There is a conference center on campus run by Marriott but it
is considerably more expensive. I will be staying at the conference
center. I will be home this evening if you want to call.
