I tried both the S2 and S3 in London recently and thought the S3 was a very
nice instrument. i didn't give it a very thorough trial but the S3 had a
richer, more rounded tone which I did feel was quite similar to the R13 I
was playing at the time. The S2 was too bright for my liking and the tone
was not as centred. I thought the keywork on the instruments was very nice.
They are definitely worth trying and are used by various professionals over
here. They are more expensive than the Buffet R13 Prestige I chose in the
end !!
