They make two clarinets, called S2 and S3. The S2 is their original
instrument. It has a larger, straighter bore and is very free-blowing.
I would offer (with my asbestos suit on) that it tends towards a
<<cower>> <<tremble>> darker and less centered tone. The keywork is
sturdy, not delicate. I've never played the S3, but it's a narrower
bore. I've heard it described as "closer to the focused French sound."

It's certainly an acceptable instrument for someone who's serious about
music.
