Oops sorry Patricia, I have been deleting the list for the last two days,
too much to do... Someone told me you posted this so I had to go to the
board and read....

>>Lynn, your son plays very nicely! For the crappy sound quality my comp
speakers get, I truly enjoyed his playing, and he STILL had a nice
sound. I'd love to hear him in a couple of years. Pitch is most
impressive, given his age, etc. Also, his articulation and double
tonguing are to be noted! :)

Actually, he is not double-tonguing, that is single tongue....he does have a
good ear, and will imitate other players he hears, which is why we couldn't
teach him any more ourselves!!! But the nice warm sound he gets is because
he plays a cornet (as compared to a trumpet) - I figure we will have to get
the trumpet eventually, too. In any case, I do appreciate your input, I
don't want him to suffer burnout! I'd let him pick music, but he'd pick
music from The Hulk, LOL.

Lynn
