Hello Wayne,

Bigger is better ?!

I think people like the fact that something bigger or wider (for example
most people like more open ones because narrow doesn't "sound" good
literally)
There are really good clarinets in both worlds and I think it is connected
to the player to make the best out of each system. I personally prefer
German System Bass-Clarinet because I'm used to ist sound. But on the
B/A-Clarinet I prefer the Wurlitzer clarinets (with a wider bore!).
