Hi Patrica,

Two years ago, I started to play the clarinet again at age 47, as 1973, I
graduated high school and went to colleger and gave up the clarinet for many
reasons.

I have a 1970 R 13, in great shape, went to Europe with County Band and took
professional lessons from one of the best teachers in the DC aea. Mr. Paul
Eberly.

You gave me lots of advice as well, as Tom Henderson, and I hope I got Tom's
last name right.

Well, I was trying to go to fast, had poor note reconigition, like C flat, G
flat B sharp, etc.

So I started again this January, and just practice for over a month, slowy,
scales from a James Collis book and this month started to work on my old
Clarence Henderson Book 2 and that is going so much better.

I did get Mr. Galpher's book in 2001 and I wasn't ready for it, since many
of the exercises, have lots of sharp and flat exercises that I wasn't ready
for.

Glenn Kantor gave me some book titles to get and I will order those this
week.

So, I just wanted to thank you and Tom for the advice, as I haven't
forgotten it. I probably still have those emails saved!

Thanks,

Mike Marmer
Germantown, MD
