Thanks to all who have commented so far on wooden Bundy instruments -
can I take it a bit further? Those who have access to a wooden Bundy -
does it have a metal end on the tenon of the lower joint (rather than
bare wood) in the style of the Buffet Prestige clarinets? And if so, is
it right that the two other tenons (i.e. the upper joint) don't have
this?

[I've forgotten the proper way of expressing this - but the ring I am
talking about would be hidden when the instrument is put
together......... I'm too young at 37 to have senior moments
already....
