Subj: [kl] Ives Largo Note Check
Date: Fri, 19 Mar 2004 11:38:06 -0500

Members of the Collective Wisdom,

I'm preparing the Ives Largo for a performance and have noticed a possible
error in the clarinet part --

The note in question is in measure 36. After an eighth-rest, the piano
plays a two notes in the right hand - f-sharp to b-natural. On the last
quarter of the same measure, the clarinet seemingly echoes these notes, but
the notes are marked f-natural to b-natural. This is against an earlier
f-sharp in the left hand of the piano and a b-natural in the violin. It
seems that the f-natural in the clarinet part should be an f-sharp
(concert). Can anyone confirm?

This is from the Peer International Edition published by Southern Music.

Thanks in advance for any help.
Jeff Chan
