Hi, all,

A few of my students are playing some of the Yiddish folk tunes in the
volume called Schabbes, Schabbes. It's arranged by one Peter Goden and is
published by Bärenreiter. The volume includes a short preface on the
pieces but neglects to give translations of the titles, which I'm guessing
to be in Yiddish with Westernized spelling. I was wondering if anyone here
might be able to help. Here are the titles:

1. Darkecho Eloikeinu
2. Schabbes, Schabbes, Schabbes (got that one!)
3. Papir is doch wayss
4. Hobn mir a nigendl
5. As der Rebbe lacht
6. Dos freyleche Schnayderl
7. Wu is doss gessele?
8. Gassn-nign
9. Scherele
10. Asoj wayt awek fun mir
11. Di-nesse-e
