Hi,
"Con esitazione" means "with hesitation" - in a hesitating manner.
I looked up "slentando" in a reasonably good dictionary and couldn't find
it or any derivative. My better dictionaries are packed away somewhere.
Perhaps it's a typo that was corrected in the later edition? Anyway,
"stentando" is derived from "stentare," which means " to have difficulty
with or some such. I don't have the music in front of me, so I don't
remember the context.
Hope this helps ...
Anna
