Actually that was one of the works I was thinking of. The experiment, as I
understand it, is to play two pitches a tritone apart, but whose "absolute"
octave pitch is not clear from the waveform. Different people will hear the
notes as ascending or descending, regardless of what is "really" happening
according to the computer.
