FedEx Ground or even better yet- Fed Ex next day.

Box the instrument in its case with plenty of padding (I generally use
several layers of bubble wrap). Then take that box and box it again, this
time in styrofoam peanuts. I usually make it about 2-3" and packed
relatively tight. I have yet to have a problem with a shipment doing it
that way... It ain't cheap, but works every time.
