Klarinet Archive - Posting 000980.txt from 2004/03

Subj: [kl] A retraction . . .
Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2004 16:34:58 -0500

I withdraw this request to remove Tony from the list, since it seems that so
many cannot see that my aversion to his choice of language has nothing to do
with my admiration for his talents and contributions to this list. You
choose to ignore what I have said about those things and instead tell me to
leave! Hmmm, methinks they protesteth too much!

Many of you have equated my use of the Christian scriptures with the use of
the world's favorite adjective/noun/verb/adverb, etc. Such a narrow
vocabulary you have! At least consider buying a thesaurus.

I have no choice but to respond to cursing with words of blessing. I cannot
respond as many of you have, so this is what will occur should the practice
continue or prosper.

Gary
