Subj: [kl] Use of the word FUCK

Gary,

I'll assume that you are serious. Bible bashers are not known for
humour. I assume you are a member of one of the low churches?

You are suggesting that a list for those who play the CLARINET should
ostracise one of the leading clarinet players of the day, a player who
has made recordings that any of the rest of us would dream of making and
at the same time engaging in discussions that I (for one) have found of
great interest - just for starters think of the recent discussion on
K622.

Add to that the intelligent posts he makes on a wide range of issues
makes him one of the contributors to this list that I value most. Tony
is clearly an erudite man who we can all learn from (and who can
probably defend himself better than I can.....)

You say in a subsequent post "Hence my enjoyment of this list. I am
greatly helped by the exposure to knowledgeable opinions." How much more
knowledgeable do you want?

Of all the evils in the world today fundamentalist Christianity is
possibly the most dangerous. (It is certainly in the top three with
fundamental Muslims and climate change). If Bush, Blair and Aznar had
not prosecuted an illegal war then (in all likelihood) two hundred
people would be alive in Madrid today. Certainly the world is a less
safe place since they have illegally removed a man who (whilst certainly
evil) offered no threat to any on the invading armies and who was
opposed to Bin Laden. Citing "scripture" in this context seems to
suggest (or at least does to me) that you would be one of those with a
religious outlook that would allay yourself to Bush's view of
Christianity.

And you complain of the use of the word FUCK.......

And I wonder why the world is in the state that it is.......

I would urge the list manager to remove Tony Pay from the list for the
use
of profanity in his posts. I can handle off topic posts, conservatives,
Republicans, and resonite clarinets, but I am deeply disturbing at
reading a
post and having to endure cursing. TV is bad enough with what they
force
you to watch during commercials, but this list is no place for foulness.

"Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness, their feet are swift to
shed
blood, destruction and misery are in their paths, and the path of peace
they
have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes." Romans
3:14-18

If Tony's list of adjectives to describe the clarient is so short that
he
must curse it, perhaps he should consider playing something else, such
as
the radio.
