Nope, I read and undertand the gist. It all comes down to personal
preference and how safe each one of us feels doing business this way. Walter
has a web site already, and makes his living with his mouthpieces and other
products. So in his shoes I would do likewise, trying to get my name out
there and expose my products and services as much as possible. It may
involve taking a chance, but it's part of the game, you have to show
potential customers you're up front, honest, and accessible. Walter already
is "known" and has a daily-growing reputation, and I see other people
re-selling his products on eBay that they have purchased from Walter or
someone else. I can tell you after twenty years in major retail, ten in
music retail, any advertising is essential to the success and longevity of
your business. I seem to recall (correct me, please, Walter) that Walter's
problem you refer to was theft of pictures to use on another site or in an
auction.
I guess my opinion on the thing is reflected in a favorite quote - "A ship
in harbor is safe, but that's not whet ships are built for." The internet
presents us with security and privacy issues because there will always be
scheming, dishonest people looking to profit in any way possible.
