Hmmm ... perhaps we are missing the point here. MOTIVATION in our actions.
Perhaps your husband is guilty of doing more than just acting before asking
questions ...

A Langenus in good condition (which your husband hoped to be buying) - a
"find" - would be a BARGAIN at $52.00. In fact, your husband pulled the
trigger too quickly - the motivation being too grab the mouthpiece before
someone else did. That is the way it normally happens..

It's a goose & gander deal. Some times you pull the trigger & discover a
diamond in the rough (a bargain, a steal - an items worth 10 times the
asking price) --- other times a rabbit jumps out & you get nada.

Your husband isn't alone - this is all HUMAN NATURE. Anybody who has ever
pulled a trigger early finds a dry walnut where they thought they had a gem
in hand. I've done it - many things in life are a gamble.

A repair was disclosed - like it or not that is a fact - sufficient for a
not-guilty-verdict in any court of the land.
