The negative feedback system is there to protect us, but the bad guys use
it to make us back off for fear of their unjust retaliation. After all,
they have nothing to lose.

I had a similar experience with a non paying bidder, he "purchased"
an eefer from me via the Buy It Now option, but I didn't hear from
him for a day or two, which is very odd, with BIN the buyer is usually
right there ready to pay.

So I sent him an email and he replied that he had "accidentally"
clicked on BIN, and was only trying to find out more about it.
I decided to give him a break and only left him a neutral feedback
instead of a negative. He immediately retaliated with a neutral for
me. OH, well.

I did a search to see what other other items he had bid on, and it turns
out he had purchased one of those $45 Made-in-India 13-key Eb clarinets
instead.

That'll teach him. :-)
