Kimber,

Mitchell Lurie reeds are a little softer than some of the other brands, =
so you might need a 5. Try switching to a thick blank reed and see if =
that won't help. And the Legere reeds are on the stiff side - you might =
consider giving one a try. They take some getting used to though, so be =
prepared to use one for a month or so.
