I have some interest in Alto Clarinets, since I used to play it in high
school. I cannot afford a new, wood Buffet basset horn without mortgaging
the house I would have yet to buy. So I went on to EBay and found this -

Eb Alto Clarinet YCL-230 Yamaha

Now I have heard some comments about Yamahas on the list and would like to
get as much input as I can. Now I have heard that the true sign of a geek is
to own your own alto clarinet, but it does have a mellow, deep sound. Any
comments about Yamaha quality and sound would be welcome.
