Hello all--

For those of you who may have, or can make, the opportunity to work with the
above resources, I would like to recommend a piece titled Children's Songs
written by Carol Barnett. (Copyright 1999, Walton Music Corporation, Walton
catalog # W5042.) Written for 2 part treble chorus, clarinet (Bb) and
piano, Children's Songs was commissioned by the Nebraska Children's Chorus.

It is set of 4 songs:
I. Afternoon on a Hill -- text, Edna St. Vincent Millay, (1:45)
II. He Thought He Saw -- text, Lewis Carroll, (2:10)
III. Fog -- text, Carl Sandburg, (2:45)
IV. A Man With a Little Pleated Piano -- text, Winifred Welles, (2:20)

It is great fun to put together and to hear (at any age).
