For anyone interested in where this thread might be headed, there's a very
interesting book by Ruth Garrett Millikan called, 'Language, Thought and
other Biological Categories.'

It's a bit tough, though, and you might get on better another book of hers,
'White Queen Psychology and other essays for Alice'. Here are two quite
